If you’ve just welcomed a baby in Brisbane, you’ll know this feeling all too well…
Leaving the house suddenly becomes a thing.
What used to be simple now requires planning, packing, and a whole lot of mental energy. As a Brisbane newborn photographer, I sit with families in those early weeks every day—and one of the most common things I hear is:
“It just feels easier to stay home.”
And honestly, in many moments, it is.
But I also know how much those small outings can mean. A breath of fresh air. A slow walk. A coffee that feels like a tiny piece of normal life again.
Which is why I wanted to share something a little more personal.
I know Lydia, the founder of OUT YNDR CLUB, and her story is one so many of us can relate to.
This wasn’t a brand created from a business plan—it was created in the thick of motherhood.
In the messy, beautiful, overwhelming early days with a baby, where you’re trying to juggle everything at once… and often feeling like you’re just one step behind.
Lydia found herself constantly frustrated by the mental load of leaving the house. Packing a baby bag felt chaotic. Things were hard to find. Essentials got buried. And every outing felt more stressful than it needed to be.
So she did what many mums dream about in those moments—she reimagined it completely.
She created a bag that actually works with you, not against you.

There’s something special about life in Brisbane—the warmth, the light, the outdoor lifestyle.
But when you have a newborn, that lifestyle can feel just out of reach.
As a Brisbane newborn photographer, I see so many mums navigating:
It’s not just about going out—it’s about whether it feels manageable.
And often, it doesn’t.
What Lydia has created with OUT YNDR CLUB is so much more than a baby bag.
It’s a thoughtfully designed system that brings ease to something that usually feels overwhelming.
Everything has its place.
Everything is easy to access.
Everything is designed with real motherhood in mind.
And that changes things.
Because when you’re not digging through a bag or second-guessing what you packed, you feel calmer. More confident. More capable.
And sometimes, that’s the difference between staying home… and stepping into the world.

My work is built around making this season feel softer.
As an in-home Brisbane newborn photographer, I come to you so you don’t have to pack a bag, rush out the door, or add more pressure to your day. I create space for you to slow down, to breathe, and to feel supported.
And I’m incredibly intentional about what I recommend to my clients.
Because when I see something that genuinely makes life easier for mums—something created with care, experience, and deep understanding—I want to share it.
This is one of those things.
If you’re in those early newborn weeks right now, I want you to hear this:
It’s okay if it feels hard.
It’s okay if leaving the house feels like too much some days.
You’re not behind—you’re just adjusting to something completely new.
But having the right support—whether that’s people, services, or thoughtfully designed products—can gently shift your experience.

From one mum to another, and from a Brisbane newbohttps://youbyange.com.au/newborn-photographyrn photographer who witnesses this season every day…
The little things that make life easier matter more than you think.
And when they’re created by someone who has truly been in the thick of motherhood—like Lydia—they carry a different kind of meaning.
